What You'll Do:
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to our clients—overseeing their day-to-day accounting operations while offering deeper financial insight, guidance, and leadership. In this role, you’ll not only ensure accuracy and efficiency across multiple client accounts but also help shape their financial strategy and growth. You’ll act as a key liaison between our firm, our clients, and their success, while also mentoring junior accountant roles.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes for multiple clients with limited oversight
- Review and reconcile complex accounts and bank statements
- Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR); resolve discrepancies and mentor junior team members
- Maintain and review general ledgers to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data
- Prepare and present detailed financial statements, management reports, and client dashboards
- Guide clients through budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements to improve client operations
- Serve as a strategic resource for clients—providing analysis, answering questions, and offering meaningful financial insights
- Support CPA partners in higher-level services, including financial reviews, audits, and tax planning
- Mentor and review work of junior staff or bookkeepers as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in client accounting services, bookkeeping, or public accounting
- Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Detail-oriented with a client-first mindset
- Confident communicator who can translate complex financial data into client-friendly language
- Ability to juggle multiple clients with grace and professionalism
- Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment
- Proven ability to mentor and motivate other team members
